CopperByte Success Stories

Here are some of our recent success stories:

Port Authority of Allegheny County | www.portauthority.org

CopperByte is proud to assist the transit industry as it moves into a new era of in-house custom application development. As principal architect of the work order system for the Port Authority of Allegheny County, our Principal Engineer Barry Stahl created standards documents, implemented training programs, and collaborated with Port Authority personnel to design, develop and launch a .NET web-based work-order system. This system is being featured at the American Public Transit Association's TransITech conference. For more information about the application, please visit our Transportation page.

"If you are looking to move into the .NET environment, Copperbyte will take you there. They train and mentor your staff, move your projects forward from both a technical and managerial perspective and get the job done on time and within budget."

Hoopville | www.hoopville.com

CopperByte has been a resident of Hoopville, your home town for college basketball news, analysis and commentary, since it launched four seasons ago. CopperByte architected the first Hoopville Tournament Challenge web application, handling the NCAA Tournament contest entries. As Hoopville grew, they required a robust content management system to allow editors and columnists to upload articles from remote locations throughout the nation. Additionally, management of Top 25 polls, reporting and usage statistics, and enterprise-wide email were needed. CopperByte created a custom web services package for Hoopville that allows seamless operation for all remote users, and manages all of the site's thousands of articles.

"CopperByte has been instrumental in the popularity and growth of Hoopville. From creating our custom content management system to developing our Hoopville Tournament Challenge backend solution, CopperByte has catered to our specialized requirements quickly and reliably."
